What else will your policy cover?

Long-term Care Facility Benefits - As the need for care becomes greater, your state Farm Long Term Care Insurance policy is designed to keep paying benefits** you selected, even if you move from your home to a long-term care facility. Your policy helps cover the actual cost of care you receive for services at these qualified facilities.

Alternate care facility - At an alternate care facility, you can receive more care than can be delivered in your home, and you are not com fined to a nursing home. You can enjoy the benefits of community living and have around-the clock assistance. For qualified Alternate Care Facilities, your policy pays 80% of the cost up to your selected Maximum Daily Benefit.

Long-term care facility - referred to in your policy as a qualified long-term care facility, you can go to the nursing home of your choice and receive 24-hour nursing care services. For qualified Long-term Care facilities, your policy pays 100% of the cost up to your selected Maximum Daily Benefit.

Other Benefits Designed to Help You During A Long-Term Care Facility Stay

Bed Reservation - If you are temporarily absent during your stay in along-term care facility, we will continue to pay for your room and reserve your bed, for up to 21 days per calendar year.
Waiver of premium - Your premium will be waived after a stay of 90 consecutive days in a long-term care facility or alternate  care facility, including the days used to satisfy the elimination period.
